Escape Through the Desert

In the scorching heat of the desert, every step was torture. Nevertheless, Salim had dared to embark on the escape through the inhospitable landscape. His life as a political activist had earned him the wrath of the authorities, and now he was forced to leave his homeland. With every breath, he felt the desert dust in his lungs, and his eyes burned from the heat. Yet the thought of freedom drove him forward, and so he fought his way through the endless dune landscape.

As the sun began to sink on the horizon, Salim was at the end of his strength. But then, in the distance, he spotted an oasis, a small piece of paradise amidst the inhospitable desert. With his last ounce of strength, he reached the lifesaving source and collapsed exhausted on the ground. Here, he would recover and gather new courage to continue his journey. Because even though he had already achieved so much, his escape through the desert was far from over.
